Vintage Horror Radio 21
This week Vintage Horror Radio presents a story that isn't quite as old as the usual stuff, but good just the same. The Lottery was written by Shirley Jackson, and originally published in The New Yorker in 1948. The story caused quite a bit of controversy for the magazine and Jackson, and was banned in South Africa. For more information on The Lottery, check out the wikipedia page. We'll hear a radio adaptation done by NBC Short Story and aired March 14, 1951.
