Vintage Horror Radio 16
More classic horror on this episode! We'll hear another dramatized version of an M.R. James story this time around. First published in More Ghost Stories in 1911, Casting The Runes was featured on Escape for their November 19, 1947 show. I apologize in advance for the audio quality on this Escape episode, but I cleaned it up the best I could! For more M.R. James check out the very first Vintage Horror Radio show.
Vintage Horror Radio 15
The long overdue episode 15 has arrived! On today's show we'll hear from Suspense and their version of the A.M. Burrage story The Waxwork. Suspense did three versions of this show, ours first aired March 1, 1959 and stars Herbert Marshall. Don't forget to check out Matt's article on this author for more information.
Vintage Horror Radio 14
On this show we revisit one of the greats. Frankenstein was first published anonymously in 1818, Mary Shelley finally took credit on the revised third edition, published in 1831. We'll hear an old time radio version from Favorite Story that first aired December 13, 1947. There are many different versions of this story done by old time radio series, we'll probably hear more in the future.
